Tia Carrera stars in this series as Sidney Fox, a sort of female Indiana Jones. Her working clothes are a little less then practical for working in the field, but so were Wonder Women's. Adrian is Lucas Blackman, a temporary addition to the teaching staff at the college where Sidney Fox teaches. Very liberal rules about the time spent on campus apply here in TV land. Sidney seems to be out of her office more than she's in it.

Lucas writes best selling novels and his next one will be about Vampires. He convinces Sidney that only her expert help will enable him to find Dracula's chalice which allowed the Vampire to renew his life force for another 100 years. So they're off, leaving her office in charge of her teaching assistant, Nigel and her temporary administrative assistant. The woman has such a spectacular outside, that the Director of Sidney's department fails to realize the very good mind behind the eyelashes.

Sidney is not sure about Lucas. Could he be the Vampire? AP has a field day with this. He's a vampire in her dreams, a reluctant action hero in Transylvania and just an author with a slightly unorthodox method of researching his novels when they finally get beck to the college.

This is fun. Nothing to stretch AP's acting abilities but watching him being startled by the results of his reading-flipping a bad guy with something he found in a book... Enjoy. I did.
