Mel and Cole come back to the Watchfire after an evening at the opera. (Cole really looks GOOD in a tux!) as a major winter storm hits Chicago. They don't notice the presence of a fugitive alien who is trying to get information on Cole. There's a nice bit with Cole fixing a 1950's Panther Lamp - "I gave it the finger."

Nestove arrives and talks Mel into opening the bar to help up the people who can't get home because of the snow. One of the local News Crews shows up too, all of them are now trapped until the snowplows can clear the streets.

One of the patrons is killed. The story is a little hard to follow from this point and I have some reservations about the portrayal of police procedures.

Nestove offers to help, but as usual is more interested in scams than actual work. They finally figure out who the alien is and Cole collects him leaving them with two cadavers in the bar's refrigerator...

Not the best of episodes.
