This was referred to as a clip show, but IMHO that isn't really accurate.

Cole has figured out a way to collect all the rest of the aliens using the technology he had Mel use to keep him advised of the alien's locations at the secret facility. As he is setting everything up, he finds that he has a contaminated life force that may force him to abort the whole thing. The wormhole is only going to stay open for two hours so he needs to find the contamination and fast.

He and Mel start going through the possibilities and we see clips from earlier shows, but none of them seem to be the problem. Cole finally does figure out who it is and finds that he has a short circuit. As he fixes it, there's a massive electrical discharge that blocks his memories.

Mel is watching the time and tries to explain who he is and what he's been doing on Earth. He thinks she's crazy except that there are some memories, all of them having to do with her. There's some very nice by-play as she insists that there was nothing going on between them, but he remembers the kiss and isn't buying her story.

He finally does breakthrough and manages to capture all of the life-forces. All the little blue dots on the map that indicate aliens are in the collector and he can go home. He asks Mel to go with him, but she is afraid and says no. He caresses her throat in the gesture we've seen before; goes into hyperspeed and is gone.

Mel returns to the apartment, after a shopping trip, and hears someone moving around in the living room. Cole is working on her stereo, the buzz has always bothered him. They talk about possibilities for work, since he no longer has the escaped prisoners to hunt, He tells her he wants to open a small electronic repair shop. Then Mel says she has something for him, she wanted to give it to him but the time was never right. It's a very nice telescope and she asks him to show her Cirron. While they're talking, with his arm around her waist, the camera pans back down the hall to the War room and the wormhole isn't closed. Suddenly, the blue dots that represent alien life forces begin showing up...

Has something happened to release them from their confinement? Is Zin among them? Is this a whole new batch of badguys?

Boy, do I hope we get a second season!!!!
