Not all of the aliens were able to take human bodies. One of them, Metterand, is forced to use the body of a guide dog being shipped to his new master. Metterand, aware that Zin needs him, maneuvers this master into the path of a car and takes off.

Vic has brought Mel a present... a bullet taken from the wall at the site of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Personally, I think the relationship is doomed.

Zin is trying to force the city council to accept his urban renewal plan, and after Metterand kills the Councilwoman who opposes Zin, the councilman who's being paid off, tries to hold him up for more money. Enter Metterand and scratch one councilman.

Cole is injured in a fight with Metterand and we learn that he can regenerate small amounts of tissue. Vic comes to get Mel for dinner and Jess tells Cole that he's jealous of Vic - "It's written all over you."

Cole is looking for the writing as we - Fade to Black.
