Evening

the day begins with a greeting and dedication,
so
it ends with the
assessment, "Evening",
to complete the pattern.
I call to The Lady... I stand in Her Presence...
Lady-Mother, Sister-Maiden, Wise-Crone...
I lay this day at thy Feet.Help me to understand the things that have occurred
this day, and to use what I have learned to grow.Let me see clearly what tomorrow brings. May I use The Powers with Wisdom, Honor and Restraint.
May I develop and grow, changing and learning, secure in the knowledge that change is a part of life... part of the Wheel, the Cycles of Becoming.
East Wind, bring Eventide...
South Wind, Wise Dreams...
West Wind, Evening Rain...
North Wind, Midnight Star...Lady Queen of Times Past, Present and Time to Come...
Lord Consort, Guardian of the Western Gates...Thank you for this day...
Guard me through the coming night...From Time's Beginnings, to Eternity's Endings...
