The Full Moon is a time when there is abundant energy for healing and celebratory Circles. It has become the traditional time for Healing and Celebration We share food and drink, and raise energy to overcome obstacles.We gather to honor the Goddess and the Creating Energy of the Universe We share Her joy by meditating on healing ourselves of physical, emotional and spiritual ills. We use the glowing Full Moon to fill ourselves with that silvery energy, letting it flush out the pain we all cause ourselves We ask for better understanding of what our physical bodies need and the wisdom to listen to them.
We are not a tradition that negates the body. Our bodies are the homes we live in. We need to keep them well so that we can do the things we need to do in the Mundane world.
Often the Full Moon celebrations included Circle Dances. People danced until they were overcome by the spirit of the Goddess and God. Today, the small sizes of our homes and apartments often make dancing difficult. Often there are gatherings of several Covens, that still dance the spiral though, and it is worth the effort to try and locate them. Often Pagan Friendly Bookstores in your area will have notices about group gatherings. The Circle Dance raises a tremendous amount of energy.
One note- I've added notes here regarding the music we customarily use for our rituals. Music sets a mood and the compositions we've chosen are important in the "feel" of a ritual. As always, these are suggestions that have worked for us. Use music or drumming or other means of setting the mood if the selections are more meaningful for you.

We are met this Night, Night of the Full Moon, to rejoice in gifts given, goals achieved, needs met. We meet to focus healing energies on those of our friends who need our help. As the Moon glows over the Earth this Night, let our spirits soar over the mundane world we live in. As the Moon's light triumphs, so shall our spirits overcome the obstacles we face in this lifetime.
Most of all, we meet to celebrate the Full Moon, symbol for us of the Goddess, Maiden, Mother and Crone. From all the many lands the Moon shines upon come the names of the Lady. Her Faces are the Faces of all times... all places... all of our Faces. We see Her Images before us. We fill the Silver moonlight with Her Names.

As the Energy flows around The Circle, shadowed shapes begin to form... the Lady and the Unicorn... The Energy glows, filling us with the energy to heal. We heal ourselves, and those we love and care for. The glow flows around the Circle carrying us with it as the Unicorn leads the Spiral Dance. See yourself healed, perfected, filled with energy and the Joy of Life. We dance with joy, and the wonder of being alive. Let the dance carry you along.
