Season Three
Spock's Brain 61 OAD 9/20/1968 SD 5431.4 This has got to be unintentionally, the funniest/worst episode of the lot. It wasn't shown as the season primier, thank the Diety of your choice. It would have finished the show right there. |
The Enterprise Incident 59 OAD 9/27/1968 SD 5027.3 Ah, the Female Romulan Commander... I was never a big Spock
fan but this story was a good one. |
The Paradise Syndrome 58 OAD 10/4/1968 SD 4842.6 Kirk loses his memory, heart and bride in this one. |
And the Children Shall Lead 60 OAD 10/11/1968 SD 5029.5 Oh, dear... Well, not all of the shows are winners. |
Is There In Truth No Beauty? 62 OAD 10/18/1968 5630.7 Beautiful show. Everything seemed to fit well and this is
another example of Diana Muldar's ability. Thiess' costumes
for her are lovely. |
Spectre of the Gun 56 OAD 10/25/1968 SD 4385.3 This one has it's moments. |
Day of the Dove 66 OAD 11/1/1968 I don't have a stardate on the tapes. Unknown Blustering Klingons and a peace message applied with a sledge hammer,
not one of the best. |
For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky 65 OAD 11/8/1968 SD 5476.3 Interesting premise. McCoy gets the girl, then gives her
up fo continue his research. |
The Tholian Web 64 OAD 11/15/1968 5693.2 This one is a favorite. For ones, Lenard's underplaying of Spock hits exactly the right note and Dee Kelly's Doctor is perfect. |
Plato's Stepchildren 67 OAD 11/22/1968 SD 5784.0 This is a good one. Remember, this was 1968 and many white
southerners opposed the Civil Rights Movement. It was the first
TV interracial kiss. |
Wink of an Eye 68 OAD 11/29/1968 SD 5710.5 Another favorite, partly because the gang managed to slide another
one past the ever vigilent <g> censors. |
The Empath 63 OAD 12/6/1968 SD 5121.0 Very simple sets push the focus to the people. Another favorite. |
Elaan of Troyius 57 OAD 12/20/1968 SD 4372.5 "The Taming of the Shrew in Space..." This is a
good one. Another example of good friends working extremely
well together. |
Whom Gods Destroy 71 OAD 1/3/1969 5718.3 Enterprise is delivering medical supplies but the facility has
been taken over by a madman, Garth
of Izar. Good in many places. |
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield 70 OAD 1/10/1969 SD 5730.2 Prejudice carried to it's ultimate hatefiled conclusion. News
film of the LA riots is used in this. |
The Mark of Gideon 72 OAD 1/17/1969 SD 5423.4 Population control is a problem without simple asnwers. Food
for thought... |
That Which Survives 69 OAD 1/24/1969 SD - Unknown Another one of the ones I like. |
The Lights of Zetar 73 OAD 1/31/1969 SD 5725.3 Oh, dear... Scottie finally has a shot at the girl but the story
didn't live up to the potential. |
Requiem for Methuselah 76 OAD 2/14/1969 SD 5843.7 Favorite! There are so many things that make this one good. The
end is so gentle. |
The Way to Eden 75 OAD 2/21/1969 SD 5832.3 I have no idea what they were trying to do with this. Everybody
looks bad. |
The Cloud Minders 74 OAD 2/28/1969 SD 5818.4 Theiss' Costumes are gorgous but the story is labored. |
The Savage Curtain 77 OAD 3/7/1969 SD 5906.4 Has it's moments, but not one I watch for, I'm afraid. |
All Our Yesterdays 78 OAD 3/14/1969 SD 5943.7 Spock and McCoy in a frozen past and Kirk accused of Witchcraft
in a 17th Century one... Good Spock story. |
Turnabout Intruder 79 OAD 6/3/1969 SD 5928.5 This was an interesting idea and, personally I think Shatner did a good job on a woman who had gone crazy with hatered and jealousy. |
